April 2015. A crowd of thousands marches across Istiklal street. The main slogan being: We are here. This same street that saw the riots of Gezi, those of May 1s, the same street that led to the cemetery of those long gone, was now full of Armenians from around the world marching and chanting while the souls of hundreds lay beneath them. But a few days after the centennial, most left and so what was to become of the Armenians of Turkey? From the cemeteries of Surp Hagop, to Haidar Pasha, to the destroyed walls of Camp Armen. How are their voices heard? How are they shaping the biggest movements of Turkey? What is the cultural genocide that they speak of? What does it mean to be a Turkish-Armenian today?
