A graduate
of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz and the
Higher Professional Study of Film Production Organization at the PWSFTviT in
?ód?. In the years 1976-1992 he worked in Film Teams in the production of
feature films - acting. In 1993, he joined the animate.

A graduate
of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz and the

?ód?. In the years 1976-1992 he worked in Film Teams in the production of
feature films - acting. In 1993, he joined the animated film and the Film
Studio Semafor where he was the head of production. In December 1999, he
founded the company Se-ma-for Film Production and became its president (until
2015). From 2008 to 2015 he was also the head of the Se-ma-for Film Foundation.
Initiator of the Se-ma-for creation of the Animation Museum.
Animated
films that he produced were won by many national and international awards at
film festivals. The most important is Oscar for the film Piotru? i wilk
(directed by Suzie Templeton).
The
Se-ma-for studio headed by Zbigniew ?mudzki received in 2007 and 2008 awards
and distinctions for the overall activity:
1. "Platinum
Goats" at the "Ale Kino" International Festival of Young
Audience in Pozna? 2007;
2. Statuette
of "Tourist 2008" at the III International Festival of Tourist Films
in P?ock;
3. Gold
Medal for the promotion of Poland awarded by the Polish Business Club;
4. Professional
Award at the 2nd International Film Festival CINEMAGIC 2008 in P?ock;
5. Victory
in January (2008) plebiscite "?ód? Sukcesu".
He
collaborates with the Tour Academy Foundation organizing the Film and Tourism
Art Festival.
Co-author of
the idea and concept of the animated puppet series for preschoolers' children “Parauszek
i przyjaciele”.
